I found a way to fly again!
I received some positive health news this week so I decided to try and get some flight sim practise in to remind of how much I enjoy flying around Melbourne. I also need to practise flying a Cirrus SR22 G6 to have a refresher in the avionics and cockpit layout before a trip that's coming up. So today I'm firing up X-Plane 12 and doing some flight sim practise.

0.23 cm is not 23 mm it's 2.3 mm, which is the correct diameter for your 1 billionth scale. You could have added Kuiper Belt objects, in general. Also the location of the heliopause which would be 18 km in your model. Which the Voyager spacecraft crossed a few years ago, truly incredible.

@@PILOTCIRRUSASIA The hazard corridor feature doesn't comply with the 1360 or 1000 above a obstacle above 360. It just shows US based rules eg 1000 above. Competitors will calculate the LSALT based on the selected splay (one of those competitors is owned by foreflight now). It can handle non-RNP based splays as well, eg the 10.3 for VOR/NDB or 15 degree for non-radar based vectors. The LSALT calculator is good when you aren't using the airways anymore and that final stage of flight for airports without a instrument approach.

Great video man. I’m a pilot for Delta, got my dream job in December last year and then a month ago hit a brick wall when I was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia. I’m only 40. I’ve done the chemo and am currently waiting for my blood counts to come back but it’s been very hard for me because I always worked out and now I’ve lost almost 30 pounds of muscle and am staring at not knowing if I’ll ever be able to fly again. I’ve def cycled through all these emotions multiple times, hope you get back to it soon.

The Spitfire was superior for air defense and dogfighting at low to medium altitudes, while the P-51 had the advantage in long-range escort duties and high-altitude combat. Both aircraft have their place in aviation history, and their performance, design, and impact on World War II make them legendary
